Honest numbers

What event monogramming costs.

Every quote is built line by line, but you should not have to guess the range. Here are the anchors we quote from and the levers that move them.

The anchors

  • Staffed stations start around $5,000 for a local Southern California event — equipment, crew, setup, live operation, and teardown.
  • Staffing runs $250 per hour, counted from load-in through strike, not just doors-open hours.
  • Travel adds $900 for events outside Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego — Las Vegas being the most common example.
  • Product is quoted separately, because a waffle robe and a canvas tote are very different line items. We pass through wholesale blank pricing with transparent markup.

What moves the number

Hours on site. A two-hour cocktail window and an eight-hour trade-show day are different staffing bills. Setup for embroidery takes about ninety minutes; strike about an hour.

Method mix. Embroidery is the premium format and the slowest per piece; the letter-patch bar covers big crowds economically; engraving sits between. Many events pair one embroidery head with a letter bar so nobody waits.

Machine count. One embroidery head finishes 12–15 pieces an hour. If 150 guests all want thread, we bring more heads — each additional head adds equipment and an operator.

The goods. Robes photograph like a dream and cost more than caps. Your per-guest budget usually lands between the item cost and item-plus-$10 once personalization is spread across the count.
